References for those on the Energy Miracles Quest
(and those wishing to start upon it)
Chapter Five of the Energy Miracles book summarizes the world's 42 greatest electrical discoveries.
An examination of these 42 major discoveries revealed almost all of them had been based upon five fundamental principles. Chapter Six of the book introduces these Five Keys to the Energy Miracles, and details, simply and clearly, how it came to be that all five of them were abandoned in the mid 1930s, leaving us stuck with 19th-century energy sources.
An obvious way to get back on the track of discovering new sources of energy is to become familiar with the ideas and research work of the scientists who had the proven successful track records in this pursuit. Most of those folks, once the spark got into them, threw themselves with a passion into their electrical researches. Some did their researches after work in the evenings and on weekends. Others devoted a lifetime. Very few of them were university educated. Many were self-taught. You can read about them in books like Percy Dunsheath's "A History of Electrical Engineering" (Faber and Faber, London, 1962), or "Fleet Fire" by L.J. Davis (Simon and Schuster, 2012) both of which can be found in libraries. For those who wish to discover new sources of energy, it is recommended that you get into the heads of these energy pioneers and follow their thought processes as they studied the relationship of electricity to magnetism and looked into other forms of energy. There are many strings to pull and unexplored paths to follow. Chapter 9 of the Energy Miracles book includes a study guide, with a recommended sequence, to start you off on your quest.
One obstacle to pursuing energy miracles has been the difficulty of obtaining key materials, many of which are out of print. So, as promised in the book, I've made available for download 18 important, yet hard-to-find, references that will be helpful in your work. Happy Hunting.

World's Top 42 Electrical Discoveries
Here you can download a timeline of the World's top electrical discoveries. Notice they end abruptly in 1938. You can find out why in Chapter 5 of the Energy Miracles book.
The Energy Miracles Definitions
Here's a list of hard to find and specialized definitions relating to the subject of energy. Study these and learn them cold.
The Earl of Stanhope Experiments
Seventy fascinating and easy-to-replicate experiments on basic electricity from a little-known 18th century electrical genius.
Benjamin Franklin's Experiments
Anyone on the quest for an energy miracle should be familiar with Ben Franklin's "Experiments and Observations on Electricity."
William Henley Experiments
More electricity experiments from the 18th century. (Note: the "s" in the text of that time looks like an "f".
James Clerk Maxwell's treatise on Aether.
Read what the all-time greatest electrical genius had to say about the "aether" in his article which appeared in the Encyclopedia Britannica's 9th Edition.
Albert Michelson's Experiment into the speed of light
A giant in electrical discovery measures the speed of light with $5 worth of materials and explains the rationale behind each step of his experiment.
James Clerk Maxwell's Elementary Treatise on Electricity
In Maxwell's own words, "In this small book I have endeavored to present in as compact a form as I can, those phenomena which appear to throw light on the theory of electricity and to use them...for the development of electrical ideas in the mind of the reader."
James Clerk Maxwell's Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field
In this article Maxwell describes the most obvious mechanical phenomenon in electrical and magnetic experiments.
James Clerk Maxwell's Physical Lines of Force
Maxwell's landmark 1861 article on attractive and repulsive forces (later corroborated by Herz) demonstrated that electromagnetic effects travelled through space in the form of and propogated by transverse waves just as those of light..
Hubbard's Axioms of Space, Energy, and Time
In a series of lectures in 1954, Ron Hubbard codified the relationship of space, energy, and time. For the first time science had a stand-alone definition of each of these, and they remaain unsupplanted to this day.
Nicola Tesla on Electricity
Tesla's address at the commemoration of his Niagara Falls power plant in 1897.
Tesla Inventions and Researches
The inventions, researches, and writings of Nikola Tesla edited by Thomas Martin.
Tesla Alternate Currents Experiments
Nicola Tesla's experiments with alternate currents of high potential and high frequency.
Tesla Magnifying Transmitter
Extracted from Chapter V of the book "My Inventions" by Nikola Tesla. It was this article that prompted the FBI to confiscate all of Tesla's materials.
The FBI and Tesla
Freedom of Information Act documents regarding the FBI's confiscation of Tesla's materials.
The Original Transister Patents
Three of J.E. Lilienfeld's original transister patents. (1927-1933). You'll find in Energy Miracles Chapter 8 that William Shockley was not the inventer of the transistor.
The Makers of Electricity
A classic 1909 book on the history of electricity by Brother Potamian.
